Research Capabilities

The College of Information Technology (CIT) offers full-service research capabilities on a global scale. Our highly experienced faculty and graduate students bring a wealth of standardized and customized solutions that serve the needs of society.  The College has a broad range of active research areas that include:

To support such research activities, CIT provides over 20 specialized labs that include an 8.3 T-Flop super grid computer that is the fastest in the region, a robotics lab, six laboratories dedicated to IT security and five laboratories dedicated to the field of networking.

CIT hosts a distinguished lecture series to engage both faculty and students in current research activities. It also hosts the Middle-East’s largest and most prestigious annual IT research conference the ‘International Conference on Innovations in IT’, which has become a hub for IT research innovation, receiving worldwide recognition.
